Securing Your Session
To secure your session, a $70 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
This deposit locks in your chosen date and time, and ensures I can dedicate that spot entirely to you.
The deposit will be applied toward your package total, with the remaining balance due by the day of your session.
In the event of illness, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, your deposit can be transferred to a rescheduled date within 6 months.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
I’m based in beautiful Hervey Bay, and all sessions within the local area are included in your package. For sessions a little further away, a travel fee applies.
This helps cover travel time and costs, so I can focus fully on creating a relaxed, beautiful session for you.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! I have a handful of beautiful spots around Hervey Bay and the Sunshine Coast that I love to use —
That said, I’m always open to your ideas too! If there’s a place that feels special to you or that you’re in love with, I’d be more than happy to meet you there. Together we’ll choose a location that feels both beautiful and true to your story.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
I’m all for embracing a little adventure — soft rain and moody skies can create some truly magical images. That said, your comfort always comes first. If the weather turns severe, or if you’d prefer not to shoot in the rain, we’ll simply reschedule to another date that works best for you and my calendar as well.
When is the best time to book a maternity session?
Usually between 29–34 weeks, while you’re showing beautifully but still comfortable.
Do you provide Maternity outfits or do I need to bring my own?
I provide a thoughtfully curated collection of maternity gowns for you to choose from, designed to complement every bump beautifully. To ensure the best fit and comfort, I kindly ask that you wear nude underwear on the day. Of course, if you have a special outfit of your own that you’d love to include, you’re more than welcome to bring it along too.
What happens if my child doesn’t want to cooperate?
Little ones have their own rhythm, and that’s perfectly okay. I take a gentle, playful approach, giving children time and space to feel comfortable. Instead of forcing smiles, we’ll focus on creating a calm, fun atmosphere where authentic moments can naturally unfold. Some of the most beautiful photos often come from those in-between giggles, cuddles, and quiet moments.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
My usual turnaround time is around 2 weeks. As a mama myself (with two little ones, including a baby, and a husband who works away), I truly understand the excitement of seeing your photos. I do my very best to deliver your gallery as quickly as possible, and I’ll always share at least 6 sneak peeks soon after your session so you have something beautiful to enjoy while you wait.
What happens if we don't want our kids on social media?
I deeply respect the privacy and comfort of every family I work with. If you prefer your children’s faces not be visible in any images shared on my social media or website, you may choose to have their faces gently covered/blurred, or opt out of social media sharing altogether. Please let me know your preference when booking so I can honour your wishes fully. Your peace of mind and your family’s privacy are always my priority.
What are your Wardrobe Guidelines Non Maternity?
To keep your photos cohesive and true to my style, I kindly ask that you choose soft, earthy tones for your session. If you’re unsure, I have a colour palette available to guide you and I’m always happy to help with suggestions.
